I am presenting tonight at the Utah Real Estate Investor Association monthly meeting.  If you are not a member and would like to come.  Your first meeting is FREE!

Determining the ARV (After Repaired Value) of a property is typically the first step to determine whether it is a potential deal for you or not.

Whether you are rehabbing, wholesaling, or keeping as a buy and hold - you want to become an expert at estimating the value of properties. If this number is wrong you could be making a huge mistake!

During the presentation, "Estimating the ARV of a Property Accurately and Quickly!," Jeff Rappaport, President of Jupiter Property Solutions and JR McLaughlin, Associate Broker for Select Group Utah will walk us through the following to help us in our future valuations:

1. Understanding the guidelines an appraiser will use to estimate values of properties
2. Knowing how far away from your subject property you can go to get accurate values for your property (Cross over certain boundaries and you will end up making a big mistake!)
3. Tweaks you can make in your search when you are having a hard time finding comparables (comps)
4. Why you should get MLS access to run comps in Utah
5. How to estimate ARV in areas you are not familiar with
6. How to be confident and accurate in your decisions within minutes
7. How to verify comps that you are receiving from a Realtor (Tip: Not all Realtors know how to run comps)
