I actually went through the process, created the LLC, and then had to end it only a few weeks later for personal reasons. My investing is on hold currently while I'm in the process of buying a home for my family and having a baby... Priorities! LOL Best of luck to you! Keep us posted on your progress!

If she's being evasive, and in light of that note regardless of who was the intended recipient, you should start researching the eviction process for your state.  You can take the first steps to let her know you are serious and that she must cooperate with you, without going through with a full eviction.  This "warning" should get your point across and let her know that YOU are the boss, not her.

Looks great!  I've been studying up like you did.  I'm in the process of buying my own home right now and hope to close by mid-July.  As soon as that is done I want to jump on my first flip.  I've been analyzing deals and researching funding.  Seeing your success definitely helps most my confidence!

I've heard that too @Chris Watkins! My personal opinion though.. if a buyer makes an offer on one of my listings with the required information, and doesn't give me the gut feeling they can't be trusted, then I'm certainly not going to advise my client to turn down the offer just because the investor wants to use the LLC name instead of their personal name. As long as everything is legit, I'd say go for it! ... But that's just my opinion!

Hi @Mikel

@Mikel Garcia!  I found it easy, but I also took (and passed) the NJ and PA bar exams a month before I took the licensing exam so I was already in study and testing mode.  I think the exam is a good reflection of what you'll learn in the course and as long as you pay attention you should be fine!

Hi! I'm a real estate agent (in New Jersey) and will be submitting my first offer on behalf of an investor using an LLC to purchase the property. I want to make sure I fill everything out correctly. DO I use the LLC's name as the buyer? Who signs? I believe it should be one of the co-owners or designated representatives for the LLC, but how do I explain who that is on the contract? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Hello! I'm a real estate agent and an attorney (not practicing). My brother-in-law is a licensed contractor. We are ready to start investing and need some advice on starting an LLC and bank accounts. I know some investors have one LLC that they use to buy their properties, and others have multiple LLCs. Not sure what advantages come with each method and told appreciate any input. We are in New Jersey. Thanks!
