Looking for advice on new construction, specifically in CA. We are looking into buying a burned lot in the North Bay and wondering what costs are associated with rebuilding other than labor and material construction costs, for example: permits, utilities connections, etc.

Has anyone bought land and rented out travel trailers or off grid housing through Hipcamp or airbnb? Specifically in CA? It seems like a profitable plan outside city centers where zoning permits.
