Moving to Mead because we were going to buy a second home equal to our current home in Erie (we purchased the one in Erie new in 2012)  then move into that one and rent the first house.  This was last year but everything we found didn't have our personal qualifiers since we were going to live in it for a few years we wanted open space behind the house at a minimum....  Needless to say the Erie market out priced us and didn't produce what we wanted!  I didn't want to spend a 1/2 million dollars to live in Collier Hills. It just worked out that we found a place in Mead which when I did research Mead was approximately 5,000 people but grew by 900 people in a year... So i believe that home will become a great investment like the one in Erie already has proven to be!  

Hi everyone- my name is Jennifer McPherson and until the end of April I live in Erie Colorado. Moving to my second house in Mead, Co end of April. My background is Marketing for civil engineering. I recently realized that at 46 yrs old I really need to do something so I am not working until I die. I've been "reading" audio books on my grueling commute and decided recently to take the plunge and purchase a second house... For now my goal is to buy another house in two years and then another one in 1 year following that. Looking to network with knowledgeable people and gain a little more wisdom!
