I am looking into the cost of granite and installation today. Maybe there is a way to make it work!

Good idea. Thank you for the suggestion. And excuse my typos in the original post.

I’m wirking on a mid-level flip property with a limuted kitchen countertop budget we are installing ourselves. Because granite and other solid surface options are out of our budget and not necessarily needed in this neighborhood, would you install a nice laminate or real butcher block countertops? I have never been a fan of butcher block, but realize its coming back in style so am leaning that way.

Yes, you can accept back-up offers.

I wouldn’t go white. Pick a color that will appeal to most in your area.

I’m here in San Antonio, Texas.

Thanks for the info! I plan to attend Reia meetings as much as possible, and utilize BiggerPockets resources. Having invested and flipped before, I completely understand the perspective of not needing a realtor to find your deals. But having learned so much recently, realize it can be a huge assistance to investors working with realtors who know how to manipulate the mls to pull potential investment properties.

Newly licensed realtor in Texas, with some personal real estate investment background.  I want to start out "investor friendly" before becoming realtor-trained! Any advice on how to develop investor relationships and learning their strategies and goals is greatly appreciated. Looking for baby steps and mentoring at this point, with the ultimate goal of becoming the investor.
