If I loan someone 10K at 10 or 20%. Interest. Am I taxed on the interest made? Do they give me a 1099 or how does that work? Thanks

@Gabriel Amedee Thanks for the response. It would take me about 5 months to save 10K and they want to jump on a flip in a couple of weeks. Just wondering if I should wait until I save it or is it worth getting a loan to jump on it now? Thanks

My aunt works for a real estate agent/broker in Austin, Tx. They want me to be partners with them on a few flips. They are asking for 10k to invest. I only have 2k and my credit is around 638. Is it possible to get a loan for 10k so I can finally get into flips then eventually into multi family rentals? Thanks
