As an older real estate investor by 9 years, I'd assume she was curious if you were already approved for a loan by a bank (I'm only 25 and am still learning the basics myself). I'd suggest looking into information regarding mortgages and down payments before continuing conversations as you don't want to damage your reputation by accidentally lying or get yourself into debt for no good reason. 

Disclaimer: I have not invested in real estate yet, take my advice like a grain of salt.
