James Massoti thank you for such a helpful winded response. I really appreciate you taking the time to form such a thoughtful reply.  I lol over the still sitting on the couch portion.  On the money saving note I wish I could post photos so you could see my 12$ smart watch, my air mattress ,and my scotch taped at 68° thermostats. Id honestly say you were describing my life.

My achievements will surprise the ones who doubt me and I will give my family the life and experiences I never had. I am so intrigued to learn that you can finance as much as a fourplex with fha. Gives me great hope for immediate cashflow.

I had looked into my license years ago but was talked out of it but Im reaching a point where others will not dictate my decisions and I will make the changes I need to make.

As I just read on one of the blog "4 steps to get off the sideline and take massive action "by Nathan brooks ...""Here is a hint: If you went to bed thinking about it or got up pondering it, that’s probably a great place to start.""

This describes me well.  I've driven my wife insane with the RE talk. But its hard to feel it so deeply and not discuss it.

Just a side note uber is being cumbersome because they registered me in Delaware instead of greater Maryland which is where I live and work. Not sure why they did that but ill get there eventually and looks like I may corner the uber market . And with my third row seat explorer and a creative niche I may be able to compete with the local taxi service. Im still working a massive amount of o.t. And after the holidays will be looking for a part time with a few hours a week. If I can squeeze an extra 400 a month in supplemental income I think I can kick debt resolution and savings into high gear. I also do yard sales in summer which nets in the 1000 dollar range which will hopefully Go to my goal. Factor in income tax and with I little self control I think I can reach my one year goal. ;)

Thank you. My negativity has been an issue and I have begun to see the light with  positivity. I do currently rent and am only 20 points from the minimum fha  requirements.  I appreciate the down to earth advice. I think staying active on bp will help me immensely. And I do see part time work or a career with uber in my future. Lol

So I've  been so diligent in my study of real estate investing for the previous 3 months or so and have wanted to get into real estate since I was 16. However life choices hampered those plans which were not so well laib and now I feel like it'll be nearly impossible.  The more i listen to the podcasts I realize I don't have many options presently. I have about 8000 in debt. Only make 17$ an hour single income with wife and three kids, and only have about 400$ in savings. Its obvious my investment dreams will be put on hold but how do i keep the fire burning? I've made the commitment to change my spending and saving habits. However im worried ill lose hope. I thought wholesaling would be the answer but it seems like I may have been wrong. How were you feeling before making the jump??
