Happy Friday All. 

I am looking to connect with owners of property management companies.  To get some advice and knowledge on where to start.  Right now, my boyfriend and I own and manage our own two rentals, as well as a rental owned by his dad.  I want to expand and build a business. Any advice or knowledge anyone is willing to share would be amazing!

Hey BP, Can anyone give some advice or share experiences with section 8 ? I have heard conflicting information , some saying it’s great and others it’s horrible. Would love to hear some real life experiences other landlords have had. -Jessica

Hi Shelly,

Welcome! You could try and get a part-time leasing job.  Some of these jobs won't require you to have a real estate license, but you could gain some experience there before securing your license.

Hey BP, Does anyone have any tips using public records for pre for-closures ? Has any had any luck getting a generated list from the county ?

Hey BP, Are there any dual PA /NJ agents who took the 30 question real estate law test for PA? I am using the book Modern Real Estate Practices in Pennsylvania 13th edition , and just studying the license law chapter. If anyone has any tips to share or any suggested study materials it would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks everyone !
