@Keenan Fitzpatrick Thank You! We moved into an Airstream for a few years and ended up here in NC thinking we will stay in the area for a while. Recently got my NC Real Estate License. Looking at all opportunities looking for our next flip at the moment I haven't been able to find anything that would make good financial sense unfortunately. We did a refi to finish up the renovations on the home in FL.

This is a Great idea! I am with @Dustin Allen and @Michael Baum about the renter situation. My only concern would be the location in Lenior. My MIL lives there and there are some crappy areas. I would just make sure the neighbors are not junk collectors. With it being so close to Blowing Rock and Sugar Mountain it will do Great. 

Thank you! We lived in manatee/sarasota area for ten years and decided it was time to get away from the crowd and heat! Moved up to the mountains. Downtown Bradenton is up and coming for sure many improvements over the last few years. Good luck with everything! Talk to you soon! 

Here was the finished work!

We bought in West Bradenton loved the area. The home was 1200sqft. We were looking for a concrete home with good bones because I am sure you know in FL termites tend to be a huge issue especially in wooden homes. The biggest challenge was replacing the plumbing with terrazzo flooring drilling through it was a tough job. We had to update EVERYTHING! We have A lot of contractor friends in the area that were AMAZING. Plus, my husband is in the trades. It was a group effort. The most important thing I learned from this is to never live in the home you are going to be remodeling unless it is minor stuff lol! Keep me posted on what you buy and how it all goes!
