Hi Bigger pockets.

This is my first post, so please forgive my ignorance.  I own a rental property (4 bedroom house)  and the Tenant is using the property as his business address for his construction business.  We told the property manager about this 6 months ago and  she addressed it with the Tenant.  I checked yesterday and the Tenant is still using the rental as the business address.  Can you please advise me on what to do next or what constructive steps I can take to resolve this.  I live in California and I'm trying to be very careful to do the appropriate thing.  I'm not very knowledgeable and would appreciate your input.  Thank  you so much in advance.

can you further describe what you mean by "using as a business" big diffference between having company vehicles there vs. having pallets of shingles in the driveway. what specifically or how specifically are they using it as  abusiness

Yes,  the tenant has a lot of construction/roofing material in the back yard.  He also has a hauling trailer in the front of the street and has construction material stored in the garage as well.  I'm scarred some of it could be flammable.  I think I saw a big oxygen tank in the garage.  I'm scarred if something were to happen my insurance would not cover it because he is running a business there and it is suppose to be for residential use only.

Thank you guys for your advice and input.  I really appreciate it.  I was concerned because the tenant has roofing supplies all over the back yard in addition to a trailer and roofing machine in the street.  He also has a couple of big trucks in the front parking of the house and a hauling trailer parked in the front street also.  I was thinking it more as a lability if something would happen in the house and maybe my insurance would not cover it??  I'm a little naive about rental properties so I really appreciate everyone's input.  It allows me to see things from a different perspective.  Thank you!
