Sorry to say but I don’t care whose behind the door, business is business. I just evicted multiple people and one had a family with autistic kids, but they were paying 60% of market value. Again business is business, you wanna make money or lose money ?

And you wonder why landlords get a bad name

Just got an email blast from Pittsburgh REI

Yeah I wish I had more insite for you.  Definetely a nice area.

My only thought off hand if you like it as part of your family history, try to get it for personal.

Good luck with whatever you descide

Without philosphies of types of governements being debated...

How on earth is this legal?  If things are opeing up tomorrow in half the state...well...my simple mind doesnt get it

If it were me, I would work with her.  See where you can make some win wins-like she pays heat, if any assisstence with utilities and you get that, etc

To all the people saying kick her out, its business, hire a pm to kick her out, shame on you.  Would you want someone to treat your mother that way?

What township is it in?

Im sure some other Erie ppl will chime in, but one of my thoughts about A type rentals in Erie is that since the RE is relatively cheap, if you are here long enough, you are just going to buy what you want.  Turnover would be high...but that is just my hunch.

Hopefully a few more will chime in

No, but if I went to a grocery store that jacked up prices during this time, Im going to a different store/buy online where they didnt jack up the prices

My only thought off hand...

Has your daughter fixed her "bad credit ways?"  I would assume there are ways to assist her financially, but not put yourself at risk if she hasnt.  Might be a good teaching moment to really get herself on track and set herself up for future success if she learns these lessons relatively young
