I'm in Ocala. The MCREIA club meets the 2nd Tues. of each month.

Hi, I just joined Bigger Pockets not long ago. I have a wife and 4 children and 1 due November 8th. I am slowly learning and connecting with others here and at our local REIA meeting (MCREIA). After the birth, I plan to find some deals or work with other investors doing the sweat equity (I have rehabbed several homes for other investors and worked for a property management company doing rehabs, repairs, and turnovers for a while, while I was in Indiana. We moved to Ocala 6 months ago and love it so far. Currently I'm employed as a cabinetmaker but would eventually like to shift to fixing and flipping homes. Blessings and hope to keep in touch.

Thanks you, guys! I feel like I might need a little more education and once I get the lingo down just a little better (not too long, of course), I'm stepping forward.

Hi, I'm brand new at investing and actually haven't pulled the trigger yet. I am learning and educating myself now. My name is Joe Bruno, moved to Ocala, Florida, from Indiana, 5 months ago with my wife and 4.5 children. I don't have any background in real estate but have experience in contractor work, rehabbing, repairs, cabinetwork, trim carpentry, and finish carpentry.

Actually I just came across the Bigger Pockets website last week and am going through the Ultimate Beginner's Guide now. I'd love to work with others where the numbers make sense and benefits all involved. I am currently employed as a full-time cabinetmaker and am looking to fix and flip after hours. Currently I am only interested in doing enough deals to replace my current income stream, and then grow it from there. The ultimate goal is to create a passive income stream through multi-family dwellings and active income stream through fix and flip.
