Post: Loan servicing for seller financed notes

Sounds like a good business plan!

I personally use Madison Management for the handful of notes I have. FCI is another pretty common/recommended servicer. Paperstac has a list of about 10 servicers they work with so you could use that list as a starting point rather than, as you say, just Googling (just go to Paperstac's "Knowledge Base" page and search "servicers" to get to the article). Texstar Escrow is also a company you could look into if you HAVE to have a servicer in TX, but other places will be able to service loans in TX.

Good luck!

I actually found this one on paperstac. I've definitely considered a note fund. I'd say the majority I've found are for accredited investors, though I know there are a few that are open to everyone. If you know of any others, I'd be all ears!

Thanks, Chris!

Definitely doing all that. Just thought I'd check here too to see if anyone had any direct experience with them.

I'm not not interested in regular old notes :) But, I do like partials (I've done a few others). If there are any issues with the borrowers, I don't have to deal with it. Plus, if there is a default, I'll either be bought out or moved onto a different note with the same yield.

But, again, I'm also interested in regular old (smaller) notes. So, if you ever have any of those that you're tired of, feel free to drop me a line :)

Hi BP Notes Investors!

Wondering if anyone has experience working with Graba Equity (Alejandro dela Torre). Looking at investing in one of their partials.

Feel free to message me directly if you prefer.

Thanks!

Hi Kenneth! Josh Andrews' Paper Profits is a great place to start IMO. Really well written and covers a lot of ground in a really clear, but not at all dry, way. Like you, I'm still learning. Have been trying to read a lot and this has been my favorite/most useful book so far!

Hi Jeremy!

Dave van Horn's Real Estate Note Investing: Using Mortgage Notes to Passively is a great place to start. But, I also really liked and got a lot out of Paper Profits by Joshua Andrews. It's really clear and covers lots of the nuts and bolts of note investing.
