I'm also closing a property that is already actively listed as STR. I will just have to get my own lic under our LLC ( Multi-member). Will there be any issues? I called the county before and they did not mention anything. Thanks for advice

Hi everyone,
I’m just getting started in real estate investing and setting up my business. I’ve been looking for a good tax strategist who specializes in real estate, particularly someone who can help guide me with proper structuring, maximizing deductions, and preparing me for long-term growth.
I came across TrueBooks here on the forums, and while I know some people had good things to say, I was a bit discouraged by the mixed reviews regarding communication and follow-through. Since I’m still early in my journey, I really need someone who’s hands-on, responsive, and willing to educate along the way.
If you’ve worked with someone you trust and had a great experience—especially if they work with STRs, LLCs, or first-time investors—I’d really appreciate your recommendation.
Thanks in advance!

Looks like the comments have been consistent for the past 2 years, most recent was 6 months ago. I was about to call truebooks today to sign up. Now, I am fully in doubt of their service. It is not cheap to hire them, I was quoted 4k and I am really new in the business. Glad I came across all the honest reviews. To all who found a tax strategist that you could recommend pls comment it here. Thank You!

looking at some quotes for umbrella insurance. Please let me know if this is a reasonable price for the coverage, or any suggestion on a good one. This is only for one property under American Modern vs Aegis.
