Anson Young - Monthly meetings would be awesome. I'd be there. I'm on this forum now and I plan to be active, and I will be at the next one ;)

Hey guys, I'm not really sure where to post this so I just figured Off topic would be the best place.

I talked with Tony at length a few times during the conference over the weekend, and what he is doing seems like a good idea to invest in notes, as well as do investing real estate as a way to diversify.

My question is: has anyone on here had any dealings with Tony/his company? I'm pretty confident with his business model, and how it's set up but I'm just looking for an outside source who's dealt with him. He did say that a few people from BP has done some dealings with him, and purchased some notes from him.

I do plan on investing a little bit of money with him, unless I get some negative feedback from you guys, and of course, I'll post thoughts and experience.

Thanks,
John Hall

Steve Hukari - Welcome! Hope you're posting soon with the newest deal you just got into :)

Ever want to chat, or get some lunch let me know. I always get excited just to talk about investing.

I do use excel for some basic "what if" scenarios, but I'm nowhere near advanced, I'll be hitting you up for something in the future I'm sure!

I can't really list what I brought away from this conference. The energy from the presenters, how their personalities shown through, that was amazing.

I loved the networking, getting to know some people that I'll be talking with on here till the next summit!

Being around so many people who are interested, and also actively in the business was huge, hearing about their success, their failures.

Next year I'll be staying long into the night! And I hope the next one is longer! That would be the only change, even though I don't know if my brain can take it.

I think this is the only conference I've ever attended where I left thinking "It's..... over???"

Thanks again for putting this up!

~John

Cj and Rich - See you there! I know they're doing construction on 25 but it's after colfax, so I'm hoping to not run into anything surprising - Jason Miller - I know! I met just 1 person on Friday from here, I did meet about 7 on Saturday, but that was great to see.

I'd love to Rich, I do have my son with me (he's awesome, though) and it would be a late lunch (1230 or so) - So if you don't mind waiting till then, they've got a ton of nice places there on 16th st. mall depending on what you're feelin.

Thanks Jon K.!

Rich Weese, I forgot to introduce myself to you after your presentation(well, you were getting swarmed, haha) - Those cards you were giving out, do you have them in electronic format?
My head is swarming processing all the information from this weekend. And that was something on my 'to do'.

Joshua Dorkin, Thanks for having a place for everyone to get together. Can't wait for the next one (where I should be able to contribute a little more, instead of sitting on the sidelines watching and learning)
James Martin, what's college? Kidding, I'm going to be enrolling in some night classes to help get my agents license, I don't plan on being a Realtor but I think it would be a good tool to have, and some good experience going through it.

Hope to see you guys around,
John

Thanks Raymond B., I've got a couple ideas I want to jump on in the near future.

I also just love talking about real estate, I get pumped. And I think my family is tired of me talking about it ;) So if anyone wants to just shoot the breeze hit me up.
