@Michael R. thank you for the input, didn't know there were different a types of tuck pointing, I will have to look closer to see if it's partial or full. Hopefully just partial 👌

@Rodney Marcantel as far as I know, every house in my area has a slab foundation.

@Mike Jones thanks for the tip, I will be looking into "red tagged" properties. Assuming that means it's unsafe to be occupied?

Looking at a potential foreclosure property, backyard of house is on a slight decline, as is all the other 5 houses in a row. There are several cracks throughout the exterior of the house, some have even been tuck pointed?.... And cracks still appeared. Any insight on this matter would be great! Structural engineer? soil samples? Should I run the other way?

House has been on the market for 5 months.

'07 Acura TL-S

Bought used. I love cars, buying used always made more sense. Financed 60% and paid off in 2 years. 😑

@Tim Baird

+1 sounds like 1 of the 2 elements has burned out. Spend $25 at Home Depot and a couple YouTube videos, back in business.

If the element actually did burn out, chances are the second element is not far behind it. May consider changing both....
