I have some capital that I would like to invest in the short term rentals. What type of properties have the most occupancy rates, condos units or SFR?

JP - You can most definitely make some money in the Destin/30A market. As with any investing, you just have to buy right. Luckily, most of our competition is big business management that don't care about their clients..lol

Hi everyone! I am interested in getting into the short term rental game. A buddy of mine has a property in Destin, FL and he mentioned that he is projected to make around $30K for this summer. I would like to know if this is the normal projections for this market area. If the numbers make sense, I would like to get a property in that area.
