Wow Benjamin, I really appreciate you taking the time to send me this very useful information. It is very kind of you. Please let me know if I can ever return the favor to you!

Thank you so much for that really useful information. I appreciate it a great deal. Please let me know if you happen to know any wholesalers in the Bay Area that might be able to help me find a property.

I’m getting ready to start flipping properties in the Bay Area. My financing is already in place, and I have a trusted contractor lined up to handle renovations. The next—and most important—step is finding the right under-market property to purchase and flip.

I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions on effective ways to source good deals. I’m also very interested in connecting with local agents, wholesalers, or anyone who may have leads on potential properties.

Looking forward to connecting—thank you in advance for any guidance or introductions!

Best,
John Slegg

I am new to Biggerpockets. I live in San Jose, Ca. I want to try and find out more information about the idea of flipping houses in the Bay Area. I don't have any current experience flipping house, but do have an excellent contractor in my family that can do the work, and about $500,000 in savings that I can invest in this project. I would love to hear from anyone that is currently flipping houses in this area, and whether they would recommend someone like me getting into this field. Most of the information I have read over the last year or so, suggest that you shouldn't get into flipping in the Bay Area, as it very competitive and very expensive. However, I feel that if you can find the right house at the right price, then surely there is still money to be made.
