It's not about the money. Trust your instincts...

Hello BiggerPockets! I am a 45-year-old man and I am absolutely broke but I've also never felt as grateful than I do today; I've had a tumultuous three years but I've learned so much about myself and others in the process. Are you practicing compassion and empathy in your real estate businesses? Are you feeling grateful today? If so...How? Why? I'd love to read your thoughts...

This is not typical. I am consciously not a real estate investor because I want to work with real estate investors. Dump her!

@Charlie MacPherson I'm libertarian Charlie but part of being libertarian is the phrase "your rights end where my rights begin" and, in my opinion, the City of Boston has this right. Airbnb is fine for detached single family properties and owner-occupied two-family properties but then the issues begin... I wouldn't, if I were a tenant, want any Airbnb occupants ever traipsing through my building. Why? Airbnb occupants would infringe on my rights of quiet enjoyment and safety. I generally don't like government interference but, this time, the City of Boston hit the nail on the head.

I have a land listing located within a "Qualified, Severely Distressed" New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program census tract. Does this make the property more valuable to large developers? Thoughts?

No. Comfortable with a Realtor? Sign an agreement. Why? The Realtor will shop for properties that are "off market". You may have to pay a higher commission percentage if the property your Realtor finds is off market, there may be more costs and time involved, but it should definitely be worth the added cost.

@Charlie MacPherson You missed the "." after "Don't" Charlie; it was a very important part of my opinion.

Some Realtors, like me, are expert marketers and negotiators... You're doing yourself a disservice by not hiring people like me. You're also doing yourself a disservice by hiring ****** Realtors.

My thoughts? Don't. Buy in Bristol County, Norfolk County or Plymouth County.
