Great analogy for Lonnie deals! I haven't done any, but I have read "deals on Wheels" twice. I'd like to do mobile land/home deals where I have more control. I'm looking now east of Dallas.

The turmoil in the economy has got me convinced there are great opportunities if you know where to look, so I am looking. I'm open to all types of local deals, but specifically looking to do some land banking on the east side of Dallas/Ft Worth. Maybe mobile homes on acreage or small mobile home parks.

I've bought and sold several SFRs in the 90's. I currently have an office building, a SFR rental that I will retail in 2009 or 10, and my own home that sits on acreage that I eventually plan to subdivide.

I am here to learn and am happy to share what I've learned. If you are from DFW, I'd like to hear about what you are doing and fill you in on the details of what I'm looking for.
