@Joe Splitrock the tenants were already in contract with the previous owner. The new landlord is the one who is now coming up with these terms without a written consent. One of my partners is the new landlord, and now I’m curious to if this is able to happen? I don’t know exactly what he will do with the backyard of this tenant.

When renting out a unit with a backyard to a tenant, can landlords tell the tenants that the land itself is the landlords but it is available to them? Meaning the landlord can access with land without the tenants permission? I’m in a discussion with someone about this, we are located in south Florida. Let’s discuss?

@Philip Ganz can you go into more detail? I thought about multi units but I know I couldn’t get a loan 3-5% down with anything over 4 units.

@Share Ross thank you! And talking about closing costs, is there a formula that helps with knowing how much closing costs will be before closing happens ?

@Nicky Lisewski I was thinking fha because of the lower down payment. I have some savings but I don’t want to spend it all on a 20% down payment. I’d like to have some extra for an emergency fund.

Hello, I’m new to the site.

I’ve been wanting to house hack here in south Florida.

I’m still a newbie and would love for some advise.

I do own a house that I’m leasing rent to own in another state but I’m wanting to expand and learn more.

I don’t know which loan would be best in my situation. I would appreciate any advice or knowledge.

Thank you
