Most definitely! Thank you!

See here for some tips: REI Cold Calling Tutorial

The conversion rate with cold calling is about the same as direct mail... 1-3%, so if you do the cold calling yourself be prepared to handle a lot of rejection. Cold calling is not for the faint of heart. You need some thick skin to deal with lots of defensiveness, pushback and rejection.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check out that link.

What's your preferred method of obtaining/converting leads?

I haven't paid for a list yet but I might give it a shot. If nothing else, it'll be a learning experience.

That was my initial thought when I first read about it. Its one thing if the lead reaches out to you and you call them back but it's a bit different when you get their info from a list and then reach out to them randomly.

I mean, I wouldn't know because I've never done either lol but thats just what I thought when I first read it. Do you have experience calling potential leads?

That's interesting, @David Maradiaga! For some reason, I thought they might be a bit on the defensive receiving a call from a stranger with knowledge of their name and house. Maybe I should give it a shot. It's the best way to learn!
