Post: Personal loan for funding

If I were to get a personal loan for my single member LLC, could I deposit right into my business account? Also, is the interest a tax expense then? Thanks.

Question: Since a business is new and doesn't have any time in maturity, the single member LLC got a personal loan. Could they deposit straight from loan to business account? Also, if all of it goes to a business account, can the LLC claim the interest payment as an expense? Thanks

@Jay Hinrichs Thanks for your reply. Maybe I should start forwarding these emails to the FBI.

Good morning. I’ve been getting a lot of emails from private lenders. How do you know if they are legit? Thanks.

@Jamie Bateman Thanks for the link. I see that it’s best to register for legality reasons.

When you buy a non performing note, when you decide to foreclose, should your business be registered in that state?

Michelle,

Nope. No underlying comparison here. Just asking simple question. I buy a performing note with my business what is an expense and what is taxable? Just simple calculations.
