I'm just getting started with wholesaling to help get acclimated with the industry.  Within the next 4-6 months my goal is to purchase a multi-family property to live in and have tenants pay the mortgage.  From there I plan to acquire a mix of wholesale and buy/hold deals.  

I recently put a property under contract in 21206 that I plan to wholesale but I was thinking of keeping it for myself for a potential fix/flip.  The numbers make sense but maybe I'm jumping the gun (seeing that this is my first wholesale deal).

I'm relatively new to REI and was thinking of starting in the 21206 area. Does anyone have any experience investing in or around this area? Any pros or cons to share?

@Karen Margrave I would encourage you to hire a professional company to design your website.  My opinion may be bias because I own a web design company, but you will waste time trying to figure things out on your own.  This time could be better used to generate more sales, etc. Also, there are  strategies, techniques, etc. that a reputable website design company knows and can incorporate into your website to improve performance.

Hello Everyone! I've always had an interest in real estate for years. It was what got me interested in business about 8 years ago. Currently I own an online marketing company. I've been listening to BP podcasts for the past 2 weeks and absorbing all the great info I can about wholesaling. I haven't started actively marketing yet, but I plan to in the next 2 weeks.
