I want to buy a triplex or fourplex using FHA financing but then would like to change the ownership into a LLC that I will create. Is there a time frame when something like this can be done?

Second question ties in with the first question: Will FHA allow this to be done?

Since investors are the people boosting the sales of real estate why not offer some sort of "tax credit" to the investors? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks for the input Richard. I agree with you that they should see how the market does without the incentives. I also feel that the tax credit is not helping as much as they expected since several people are losing their jobs or afraid of losing their job.

Does anyone think they will extend the tax credit incentive further into the year?

If so, why?

If not, why?

When it comes to inspecting the property, do you go alone or do you go with a contractor to get a true estimate of repairs?
