This is quite the coincidence.   I've also been speaking to @deon watkins, and @jeff rabinowitz regarding Detroit real estate as well.  Andy and I are heading into Detroit along with another friend of ours @leon yan.

Deals get harder to come by as the ecosystem gets crowded.  My elbows are feeling encroached on ;)

There's a lot of information gaps I need to fill before moving fwd on acquiring more property, most important having the right network and team in place.  My 5 plex is on 14xx2 Maddelien.  

I'm looking to deploy about 400k.  I'm still debating if the full amount will be allocated in Detroit, but I would be interested in concentrating my holdings and focus on a combination of buy/hold rentals, and flips.

Dear Bigger Pockets Community,  

  This is officially my first post on an online real estate community forum, and I look forward to the opportunity in being further connected with other individuals that are also interested in real estate.  

  In two weeks, I will be in the infamous motor city - Detroit to check things out.  

earlier this year, I purchased a 5plex to get things started.  Its always easier to get motivated after you have skin in the game.  My hopes are I'm able to reach out to other individuals that are either established or getting started in the Detroit Real Estate.  If possible I'd like to pick your brain on your experiences.
