Hi,

I enjoy real estate. I have really been into it for that last year and more. My father owns a few rental properties so he has taught me what he knows and the other I have learned from people, and biggerpockets. I invested in real estate last year. My father gave me an opportunity to find a deal and he gave me financing for it. A small rental property that I have now. Anyways, I am looking for a job in real estate. I am thinking of getting my real estate license and then working for a broker of course. Not sure what broker, but I am searching for a good investor friendly broker around the north dfw. If anyone knows a good broker please let me know.  I want a job in real estate because I enjoy learning about real estate and I can make some money. Also, I am currently going for a bachelors degree in accounting, but still plan to work through college. Any advice and tips is greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

aleksandra I live in Celina.

I live in a community close to light farms. My subdivision is less pricey than light farms. You can look up my subdivision it's called Carter Ranch. I can tell you that my house would rent for about $1700/mo. And my house is a 4bedroom 2 bathroom, about 2400sq ft. Light farms has nicer homes and more amenities. Also, light farms is in Prosper Isd. A very good school district. I do believe prices in houses will rise even more in Celine and Prosper since there is a lot of construction and jerry jones (owner of the Dallas Cowboys) is building a very nice shopping center in prosper. Finally I'll let you be the judge if you could get 2400/mo. In rent. Hope that helped.

My father owns 5 residential properties. His strategy is to buy and hold. Now, all these properties are in low income areas. I want to establish a company where I can put some of these properties under a company name. The main reason is I just want to protect our other assets if we ever get sued or anything. I just wanted to get opinions from other people out there. Like how do you guys protect your investments, what is the best way? Do you setup your investments under a LLC or do you setup each individual investment under an LLC? Whats the best?
