@Edward B. Thanks for the input Ed!

Yeah so I am currently paying it down, and will be under the 6 figure balance soon. My credit is great, above 750. And I want to play this as safe as possible while trying to gain momentum in paying the debt even quicker. Right now without doing real estate, I am preparing to get the loan done in 5 years. So securing financing should be ok for me I would think. Maybe I need more research.

And do you mean you're not paying your student loans currently because you can make more money investing with that money? Stories like that inspire me man.

Quick question all! After being so motivated I’m going to begin reading the necessary books and network best I can in the next couple months. Giving myself until maybe the Fall or Spring of next year to begin!! Want to play by ear. HOWEVER. I have a $100,000 in student debt. Now I know investing can begin with little to no money. And I know it is probably SMARTER to wait until I have my debt all the way down. But play Devils advocate with me a bit and tell me if there’s a smart way I can still play this investing game without being so caught up on my own student debt! I’m thinking BRRRR or House Hacking to begin, or Multi family. But are any of these still a good play with having an existing debt? Thanks :)

David Baier that’s exactly what I wanna do man! Do as much due diligence for FREE. I have a full time day job, I’m 26, I’m in no huge rush. And great things come with time. I’m gonna utilize everything I can to learn. I’d be down to grab a beer or something some time next week David or whenever you have time. Maybe catch a World Cup game. One thing I do know, Networking is King.

@Alexis S. Wrote my experience above!

All in all it was informational, and could be very advantageous to join. This Saturday they're doing like a property look-in at one of the homes they have a contract with and will show how they would go about strategizing for the home. I can't make it to that but I would have gone if I wasn't driving to Miami.. They said they do that once a month. I may go next month when do they it again

David Baier so turns out, they were about of a bigger company called Renatus? They’re nationwide and have investors all over. It was a very informational meetup but not sure if it was my cup of tea. They offered courses for maybe $4000 for their most basic and prices went further up after. I stayed after to ask questions and ask why the lecturer was lecturing when he’s doing so well doing real estate and he just said he enjoys helping others make money. 🤷🏽‍♂️ But all in all it was informational, I wrote things down and plan to still do my own research. One thing they did provide that I thought was untouchable was the amount of resources they have around the nation and how that really does help for outside investing. Another was their technology to calculate repair costs to their value price when making an offer. Other than those two things, I believe I can give myself time before I decide if I really wanna venture that way or not.

Those were exactly my thoughts as well man. And thankfully it is advertised for networking and sharing knowledge ONLY. The organizer inboxed me to say so and that no one will attempt to up-sell anything, so it's not the intention and should be a valuable meetup. Will keep you posted! @David Baier

@Charles Sopper thanks for insight Charles!! I have not done much home improvement at all! And so I assume I would want to partner up during my first couple of home or apartments to get myself started. This would really help I think

@David nice! I wanna try learning as much as I can before starting, and as for the meetup it’s tonight 7pm-9pm! I learned about it from using the MeetUp app. Location is CFT RE Training Center, 570 North Afalaya Trail, #104, Orlando, FL

Finally, I took the red pill that was spoke about in the recent podcast and realized this is what I want! I plan to do as much due diligence as possible. I already ordered the book “Build Wealth One house at a time” and have been digging my nose into anything possible to learn from. I recently booked myself for a meetup/network event for tomorrow as well in Orlando FL. If you are in the area at all hit me up!! One question I have could be answered tomorrow but I thought why not ask here! When purchasing your first property, and you realized it needs some fixing, at what cost do you consider contracting workers and at what point do you consider doing it yourself? All considering you have a day job and most free time are weekends. Thanks!! I’m exited to learn and to learn thru experiences!
