Thank you @Derek Faller @Joe T. @Will Pritchett and @Jeff Wells. I have heard that condos are not good cash flow properties. The only reason I looked for one was because I could find one in the Medical center area in the 80k - 130k range for a 2bed/2bath and the rents are pretty high. I pay $800 for a 1bed and bath in the Medical center area.

From your input I will be looking for a Single Family Home since I wasnt aware that property taxes were high in San Antonio. I am looking for an agent to work with who is an experienced RE Investor in Rental Properties who has experience with neighborhoods in the NW(Medical Center) area. I plan to close on a property by end of March.

Thinking of buying a condo near the Medical Center area in San Antonio. I intend to live in for a year and then turning it into a rental property. Is it a good investment considering the HOA fees? There wont be a problem finding tenants since its near the Medical Center and USA and the rents are pretty high. Thoughts from experienced RE investors in the San Antonio area?

Hello , I am looking for an agent who has some experience in finding deals that would make a good rental property. I intend to live in this house for a year and then rent it out. I am looking for a Single family home or a multi family home in a safe neighborhood, close to the Medical Center.

My colleague's friend introduced me to BP and real estate investing. I do not own any properties yet, I joined a few weeks back, and I have been listening to the podcasts. My interest is in rental properties in the San Antonio Area. Interested in meeting BP members from the San Antonio area.
