I will definitely be there! Thanks for posting it, I have been trying realy hard to go to the local REIA but havent been able to because I work an alternating night shift, which for some reason always seems to land on the night the local REIA meet. So I am really looking forward to this meet up!

Hey Shaun I actually live and invested in the clayton, garner, knightdale and smithfield area! Where exactly is your unit located? And what is the rent on it? I have a listed of qualified people looking for places to rent. I have one guy right now that works in raleigh but looking for a place to right in the clayton area. He has a great job with credit score to match I been trying to find him a place maybe you have it. I could send you his info. and you could run your on screening on him.

Hello everyone I just recently updated to pro not to long ago so I could use the rental property calculator all the time and be able to print/email it to others. But I have tried to use the find members search to look for potential investing partners but it never seems to work for it it only spins around and just pop back up to the beginning page showing people who live in Florida and California while I live in NC? Anyone else have had this problem?

student housing is a great buy and hold because you know kids aren't going to stop going to college you, just have to make whatever you get make it tenant proof. I'm dealing with that now having to buy wood floors that will withstand heavy tenant use as well as carpet that will be easily cleaned when needed.

@Evan Griffithsit's a great location though, it's going to hard because a lot of investor only invest in Charlotte and no where else in NC because it's sure a good area but Raleigh is becoming a great area too. Try looking around the colleges to find a SFH and rent out each room. College kids would love to have there own room and not share a dorm room with someone. Make sure the lease is sign by them and there parents so if they don't pay rent then the responsibility falls on their partners to pay for it.
