Post: BUYING AND RENTING IN ANDERSON, INDIANA

I Lived in Anderson pretty much all my life before moving to Indianapolis. I go there at least once a week. I am actually looking to do a few buy and hold properties there since I know a lot of people who I trust to look after the property.

The Hoosier Park Casino is bringing a lot of companies and development to the Southside of Anderson and I recommend looking that way if you can find a deal. Just make sure you screen the tenants before allowing them to move into your property.

Thanks @Erin Donlan I will be looking for the next REIA meeting, and I will make sure to reach out if I have any questions.

@Andy Rumple I will PM you things I want to accomplish in real estate investing. We will definitely be looking for wholesalers here in Indy.

Thanks @Shawn Ackerman, I definitely want to invest in the New York market, but I have to start locally first. But once I start to really get deals turning I will be out there.

Hi everyone, my name is Justin Fuller. I am new to BP and also new to Real Estate Investing. I recently graduated (May 2016) from the Kelley School of Business with a Finance Degree from IUPUI here in Indianapolis. I took a few real estate classes with Professor John Snell and he really peeked my interest in Real Estate. I started to research more about real estate investing and everything kept referring me to Bigger Pockets. I started listening to their podcast and now I really want to get involved with the BP Family.

Three colleagues that I graduated with (also with finance degrees) will be creating an LLC soon. We are mostly looking for "Buy and Hold" Single Family and small Multifamily Properties in order to build our Real Estate portfolio.

Please feel to reach out and give advice, let us know about networking events and/or anything else new investors should know.
