Thanks Everyone! For each bank I contacted they had different reasonings but most of them required that I bank with them first and that my business accounts were with that specific bank. But even the bank I bank at (Wells) also has a stipulation that you cannot live 100 miles or more away from the property. I am well over 100 miles from the property as I live in California and this is in IL.

I am looking to purchase an 8plex but I cannot find a lender to do a commercial loan. I live in California and am investing in IL. I have tried local banks as well as Wells/Chase/etc but cannot find anyone that will lend to me right now. 

Thoughts?

I'm looking into property management solutions. I have 1 SFR and closing on a 4plex. The properties are in IL and I live in CA so looking for something that would make sense for a portfolio that is just starting out but will allow me the ability to manage my properties from afar. I have family that helps with the maintenance of the properties so that part is not tricky. I was building out a wordpress site but wondering if there is anything out there that will save me time and be better for my tenants.
