Hi i have an investment possibility and might be able to get financing from a private lender (a family member) in Canada.  Does anyone have experience or advice on how to protect the lender and the borrower from exchange rate fluctuation?  We want to make sure we both win on this investment.

Brenda, nice to meet you.   It's good to meet people nearby.  The mobile home market is one I have no knowledge of... Sounds interesting.  

hi @Brian Hosier.  When I say "new" to the area, I mean new to Buffalo, but I did grow up in Western New York.  It has some of the lowest priced property in the country, and yet rental income is still comparable.  To me that means more bang for my buck.  

Hi I do plan on investing in Buffalo, but I am still new to the area.  There are a lot of gems around.  My day job takes me inside a lot of houses and I am surprised at how nice they are on the inside.  I would like to at some point.  I am also just at the beginning of this journey and don't have a ton of capital to work with.  We are taking baby steps.
