My partner Hadar Orkibi with MFI Holdings (https://mfiholding.com/meet-th...) and I are building up an Indiana investment team. We are hoping to connect with some great local community bank lenders and mortgage brokers who do multifamily/commercial loans. Loan size of $350k+ since we will be purchasing 10-100unit properties.

Any suggestions/recommendation?

Looking to connect with any Saginaw, Midland, Bay City Investors out there! I will be moving to Saginaw in Aug 2021 since my significant other is moving there for med school clinicals. I am currently based out of Indianapolis, where I am a realtor and investor. Trying to integrate into the Saginaw market as seamless as possible. Would love to connect with fellow investors! Also, looking for any investor-friendly realtors in Saginaw, Midland, Bay City area.

Mark, you are so right! There is no scalability in doing the property management and repairs yourself. Gotta outsource that and focus on the income producing tasks of finding more investment properties!

I bought my first house hack in Indianapolis in May 2019 and it was an absolute homerun! Because of the massive cash flow, I saved up enough to leave corporate America and pursue real estate full time. Now my active income is as a Realtor and the passive income comes from investment properties. Wondering if there are any other Indianapolis House Hackers out there? What have been your biggest challenges?

@Luis Moreno @Collyn Bennett @Nick Giulioni

If you go onto Meetup app or website there are a bunch of real estate investing meetups out there based on your interest. There are Multifamily, wholesaler, IREIA, etc. I’d recommend checking it out! That’s how I found the meetups I go to.

Hope that helps!

@Matthew Passano I'm an Investor and Realtor in Indianapolis so I can speak to the market here. Your concern on crime rate is valid, but I will say it is highly localized. For example, the House Hack that I am living in is in Fall Creek Place. This is a beautiful/safe neighborhood (lots of families/couples exercising and walking their dogs all the time, etc). However, a couple blocks North on the other side of the Fall Creek river it is a rough neighborhood. You'll definitely want the right investor-friendly realtor on your Rockstar team :) One that can steer you away from the bad neighborhoods.

I'm a young real estate investor/hustler too. I'd recommend the Indianapolis market.

@Ralph Patulot love the investor mindset! I also recently completed David Greene’s OOS investing book. Fortunately for me....I live in Indy :) so the real estate is cheap! I got my first investment property here over a year ago and it’s been cash flowing like crazy. Definitely some rough neighborhoods on the east side but some pockets that aren’t too bad. West side (Kessler park) isn’t too bad either.
