I’m diving into investing full time and getting out of the grueling retail world. My husband and I are happily liquidating our furniture stores of twenty five years, selling off the prime comercial real estate and putting it all into residential rehab investments. I’m starting with wholesaling until our building sells. I love driving for dollars. Retail Is dead in this country and real estate is booming so we’ve decided to go for it! I would love to partner with a local mentor and split deals while learning. I don’t believe in paying for a mentor. I bring too much to the table with my skill set so instead I just learn from reading and my favorite gurus on YouTube and of course, BiggerPockets podcasts. In addition to being a successful businesswoman I have a background as an award winning interior designer/ home stager, licensed private investigator, Florida Realtor and sales / marketing expert. I’ve only flipped a couple of homes and held a few rental properties so far but they turned out to be quite lucrative so I hope to learn as much as I can on this forum so I can hopefully rely on real estate investing as our sole livelihood for the future.
