I'm looking fir a STR in Florida and looking to spend up to 250k. Not sure where I should purchase. I'm definitely looking at either central near Orlando or maybe Clearwater area? Any suggestions on anywhere else or what would be a good option for best returns? TIA ….

Hi! I know that investing is all different and the only thing I know is that it’s what I want to do! So now I am trying to decide if I should buy a few low priced properties and rent them out and go that route? I have a little experience with property management. Try the wholesale route or even small flips ( I just got my real estate license but never used) HELP I’m confused! My kids will be 18 and looking for something new to do :) Any help appreciated.

PS my sister and I will be partners in this and will be looking to team up with someone who’s does handyman and carpentry.

I just bought a SFH and I am closing tomorrow...YAYYYYY Very first investment, Thanks to you guys. I just took the leap. There are still a few things I am unsure about that I should know but there is just SOOOO MUCH to learn. We are planning on buying lots of properties and holding them. So yes we are going to start this as a business but just as my hubby and I. Question 1. Do I need a business license? 2. Do I need any permits? Thanks in advance and sorry if these are dumb questions...I have been hunting online and just can't seem to find it.

ughhh I have soooo much to learn! I feel like it's impossible! Thank you all for your help! You guys are great! I think after sleeping on it and all your comments, I'm going to pass! With my lack of knowledge I'm going to start with a SFH. I've been reading so many books and this site but I guess I need to do the real thing to understand it all! ????
