Hey @Karim Z., While I do agree with what the others have said, please check out indyeast.org. This area is designated as a "Promise Zone" where there are federal grants going in to help this area. I could see it up and coming over the next few years. That being said, I am looking myself more in Windsor Park and Little Flower (just north), or Irvington :-)!

@Daniel Kong: I am in the same boat as you. We are under contract for a house we are buying for $110k and Geico just quoted us to replacement cost for $440k...the insurance came out to over $2000/year!!

If you find a good agent, please let me know! Guess we'll be shopping for rates until we can find something cheaper.
