Hello,
I am a new agent in Scottsdale, AZ & an aspiring real estate investor. I want to succeed in this industry & kill it my first year. Would love any helpful advice or tips. I need to build a solid network of trusted individuals and if you are in the area I would love to chat.

@Jake Kain primary goal is to be an investor! While I'm saving money for a downpayment and finding the right property (it's crazy right now) I think it would be beneficial to get with an agency and do RE as well.

Hello there! So I just passed both my real estate exams and I'm so excited. I live in Scottsdale, AZ, and was wondering which agency to go with for the best training possible. Ideally, I would love to find a mentor- someone to take me under their wing and teach me everything they know! Any advice? I'm 25. Ultimately I want to buy and sell properties and thought by getting my RE license and getting out there first, would help a great deal.
Thank you!

Hi,
I'm studying for my sales prelicensing exam and I'm confused about the difference between a carryback and a contract for deed? The definitions are almost identical in my eyes.
Any helpful ways to remember the difference for the test would be great!

I've been listening to the BiggerPockets podcasts and I must say, I'm addicted. I currently live in a condo in Scottsdale, AZ my parents own that are letting me rent it out from them. I've been looking for my first property/condo to purchase myself, in Scottsdale or Arcadia. I've noticed the prices are increasing rapidly and 1bds/1ba are now in the 200s and 2bd/2ba are in the 300s! I have about 15k saved up and was curious if a 1bd/1ba all renovated is a bad investment? And if 300 range is a huge price for my first condo if I chose to go with a 2 bd/2ba.
Also, just finished real estate schooling just to be more educated in the process and haven't taken the test yet. Should I wait to finish to buy? Not looking to be a real estate agent, just want to get into rental properties & make the big $$$.
