Manhattan and Los Angeles were some of the harder hit COVID areas early on. So it would make sense that H1 would be impacted so dramatically there. I feel like this data is so muddled with factors outside of natural investment trends. Though I think this pandemic has influenced investment strategies that will last for years to come. The Dallas market is indeed on fire, and I think it will continue to be the case. The pandemic may have just turbo-boosted it.

I have countless friends leaving CA for TX in general, so I think we're about to see a huge shift. Seems Austin has already been saturated for a few years already, so that also makes sense.

@Jorge Gonzalez Thank you very much for pointing me toward Mid cities HEB and North FW. I'll dig around in there. Just learning the lay of the land. Would love to connect and talk if you've got the time... Let me know if you've got a free 5-10 in the coming days.

I'll be contacting @Andrew Postell soon as well. Thanks for your help!

@Andrew Postell Wow. Thank you SO much for coming through with all of that information. I'll get down to business and go down that entire list. Really really appreciate you taking the time to help me out like that, Andrew.

I haven't been on here long enough to come across the Texas specific forum... great to know.

Big thanks!

@John Ramirez Right on, John! I'll follow you and we can keep tabs on each other. I'll be coming to FW in September, so maybe we can have a phone call before then.

Hey all!

I need a team in Fort Worth, TX.

I live in California and I'm looking to invest in Fort Worth, TX. I'm eager to make a deal in the next 30-45 days, but I'm in the beginning stages of my research on the area. I have family and friends in Fort Worth and San Antonio, so I've decided to bite the bullet after considering a few other cities/states.

I'm looking to brrrr a SFR. My first ever in fact.

Would love to be pointed in the direction of:

  • - Great Property Managers
  • - Other BP investors who are generally helpful and approachable (In the DFW area)
  • - Agents
  • - Wholesalers
  • - Contractors
  • - Any general (or specific) advice on the area

I realize this is a broad ask, but you all seem helpful so I'm throwing it out there.

Thanks a million.
