I am excited to see what it has.  I am a CPA, for 27 years, & find that I am very picky in data, how it is calculated, & presentation.  I think we are so use to being able to adjust anything with all of our financial software that it can be hard using something else.  I still have a full-time job performing financial investigations in white color crime.  I love it but, am excited to branch off into real estate & learn as much as I can.  I will definitely look that up after work.  If you think of anything else I could learn or even do for anybody please let me know.  I will touch base with you as soon as I try the free version.  Thank you!

I am getting my business up & going and am a full-time CPA, so time is a consideration for me.  I do not have a lot of funds set aside for start up costs & would like to be as cost/beneficial as possible.  I have tried the Deal Dash & currently using BatchDriven.  I did try the free trial from Carrot but ended up canceling it & going with Deal Dash, at the time.  I understand Carrot is time-consuming up front but, I am wondering if I made the wrong choice. At least until more income comes in I can only afford one.  Which one do you think is more beneficial?

That is a great perspective I didn't think about.  They have been in business only about a year & we are just starting.  Even if it's a good deal I would rather learn from someone that has more experience & knowledge.  Thank you for your input!

I'm just starting out & have not done any deals yet. I am meeting with a local REI who wants me to consider financing 1. Wholesale Land Deal & 2. Fix/flip deal. I have not seen the proposals yet. I do have a financial background but want to make sure 1. I have gotten all the necessary information & 2. If I agree best strategies for each project. For example, 50/50 partnership with decision making or contact for set amount etc.. I am a CPA so I want to make sure I maintain the books but any other advice is appreciated.

Post: Challenges in Wholesaling

My partner & I are new to the wholesaling business as well.  My partner is experienced in the flipping aspect while I focus on the wholesaling.  It really is my part-time hobby that I would like to turn into full-time.  In researching, & based on the responses, I'm curious to see if a bigger challenge to wholesaling is the credibility of being in business as a wholesaler? It seems that there are both positive & negative opinions of "wholesaling", as mentioned in #16. If so, could that opinion be swayed by the productivity of an individual person vs the title of the service industry?

I am a CPA, CFE, CPC & work in the healthcare fraud industry for an attorney's office.  Although, lack of experience is not something newcomers can change, the challenges identified are useful. Besides books, trainings, podcasts, etc.. I am currently learning the different financing structures available.  My perception, & goal, of wholesaling is to provide a financial benefit to both the seller (given their financial situation) & buyer (based on their investment criteria).  I plan on enrolling in the capital syndicate program to gain more knowledge & experience, as well as anything else I can identify. So, I would welcome any recommendations or resources that could assist in overcoming those challenges?
