@Jim Cummings
Hey Jim, I am back in the College station area after spending some time in the oil field as a frac tech. I am now trying to pursue a real estate license and really get in this now. Any advice on how I should go about getting it?

What do I have to do to get my real estate license? I’m currently in the Bryan College Station area in Texas. I have seen websites makin you pay for an online course like RETT but concerned it might not be legit. What happens after I get licensed? do i get hired right away and start makin money? How much do you make with a RE License? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey BP folks. This is for CPA’s n here. Is it too late for me to begin an accounting/finance career? I’m 28 almost 29 this year 2018. I’m currently in oil field fracking. It’s a physically demanding job and this Texas heat is ridiculous. I can’t leave because the money is too good right now. So I want to jump ship into a accounting career. By starting I mean returning to school and finishing my associates. I was thinking agribusiness finance major or just straight up accounting. So.. am I too old to do this? I eventually want to go real estate full time but need a job to supplement me in the mean time. (Passive income from real estate while working a full time 40hr job.)
Thanks in advance

Jonatan Barbera thanks for your input. I’m not sure if I want to do it as a business YET as I’m new and still learning. I’m currently in the oil field working and saving while I try and get into real estate. Thing is oil field is physically demanding and know I can’t do it for rest of my life. Also it a fluctuating industry so I think real estate would be a good bet for cushioning when I eventually get laid off. And maybe I’ll quit altogether and go RE full time. I’m trying to figure out and get a clearer idea as to what I’m going to do in real estate so I can have money flowing in from it passively.

Hey BP folks. I would like to hear from anyone whose made about 10k or more a month continuously in real estate. How are you doing it? What did you do before real estate? Do you have a lot more free time? How many hours do you work a week now.. etc

Sorry if this question is dumb, but I dont understand how your going to be able to spend the money from investing in real estate if you just using that money to pay off your loan you got to buy the property in the first place. And from what I gather people usually get 30 year loans so you don't profit till 30 years!? Can someone plz explain
