Words of wisdom, bro. Failure is not an option. Thanks, Samuel.

Hi BiggerPockets family, I'm Kendal Williams, a newbie Real Estate Investor in Lakewood, WA. At the moment, am learning all I can about Real Estate Investing. My focus is on wholesaling and will be for the next 18-24 months. then on to flipping. But for now, education is top priority.

Is there anyone in Washington state, in or near to Lakewood, who'll like to network with me and show the ropes? Will greatly appreciate the help and knowledge.

Hi all, I would like to add my 2 cents to this discussion. Dion Johnson is on point in his experience. I, too, attended the one day free seminar they had here in Seattle in January 2017. I was so impressed with what appeared to be professionalism that I signed up and paid my $197 for the 3 day seminar in February. I attended and trust me, it was the best $197 I've spent in a very long time. Personally, it was well worth it. Yes, there were the sales pitches etc to get you to buy into the Mastery program and all that, but take that away and the information received was extremely valuable. What appealed to me, though, is the fact that even if one could not afford the $30,000 or $40,000 Mastery program there is a program of a lesser cost (Jumpstart) to get you started. In that program you do have access to a lot, if not all, of the Mastery program but with a shorter time limit. So FB has thought this thing through and made it possible that no one is left out even though you don't have the pricey finances. Added to that is the coaching sessions, continuous daily group interactive webinars and on different topics. I had the opportunity to interact with FB office personnel at their San Diego office and they are an amazing bunch. So I join with the others here in saying thumbs up for FB. These are serious people who are interested in you and your success. They give you all the tools needed to be successful, stuff like the templates, downloads, access to information which you might think is impossible to get, step by step instructions in setting up your business and get going, etc. All you have to do is go out and get the job done...It's hard work but you're not on your own...Amazing! I agree that you may be able to take $200, buy some books, join BP, get knowledge or accumulate knowledge. All that is wonderful but how well you are able translate that knowledge into the world of REI (without a coach) is another story. Don't get me wrong. Am not devaluing the awesomeness of BP. BP does have a wealth of knowledge, books and literature including experiences offered to the community for free and that's all great. I applaud BP for that, but I just wanted to share my experience with FB.

Kendal.
