We have actually been accepted to the Remote Shoals program to receive funds to relocate to The Shoals area. I have recently been keeping my eye on the Madison County area so it is good to hear there are some opportunities there.

We are interested in finding properties with potential for ADU so I will definitely reach out to Nita Cook, thanks for the recommendation. Any leads on investor friendly agents in the area would be much appreciated!

My wife, Elsa, and I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, but we currently live in British Columbia, Canada. We’re excited to begin our real estate investment journey in 2025!

In the near future, we’ll be visiting The Shoals area in northern Alabama, where we’re considering a potential move this spring. We would love to connect with investors, as well as investor-friendly realtors and property managers in the northern Alabama region.

Any insights into the local market or recommendations for neighborhoods to explore further would be greatly appreciated. We're particularly interested in purchasing a duplex, triplex, or fourplex, or a property with an ADU to start our investment journey.
