I'm familiar with BTown. I bicycle through there on the reg. It's a block by block area. Sometimes it's great (west of 29th and south of Oxford) but it can become Strawberry Mansion in a block. I have seen some MF units come up, but as previously stated, it is mostly SF. I am in the market for MF, and looking to partner with someone on a Quad. Let me know if you're interested.

Anyone have any idea how to get in contact with a Marine Lt. stationed in Hawaii?

So, I have a name, a Marine base that he's stationed at... and that's it.  Dead End.  I may just have to go knock on his Mothers door to wish her good tidings and pick up his number there.  Good Deals don't come easy!

@Rick H.I now know who the executor is.  Plus i have never been much of a fiddler (I've always preferred the violin).  He's a Marine stationed in Hawaii.  I'm going to give his mother a call and see what's what.

We could partner up and get a quad, you live in one, me the other...and then rehab and rent the other two. 

Im looking to convince an executor that I'm worthy to buy his Grandmothers property.... only thing is I can't find him. It was suggested on BP that I check the probate. How is this done in Philadelphia?

@Rick H. Would the probate doc. contain the executor's (Grandson) name if I am able to locate it?  Are these probate records public and searchable via the city who hold them...in this case Philadelphia?

@Rick H. @Ned CareyI found out more information.  The executor is the woman's grandson who is stationed in one branch of the military in Hawaii.  He just hasn't filled the paperwork to allow the sale to proceed.  It's not that the family or he wants to keep it.  It's more a lack of action than anything else.

In the new year, the family plans to get together to get the co-executor (the mother of the grandson, daughter of deceased) to be placed in charge of the estate.  Then the sale could happen.  

I'm betting that if I can somehow convince the Grandson to get out and do the paperwork, the agent and I could work together to get this sweet deal. Maybe my LLC could make a charitable donation to a non-profit that supports soldiers and sailors?

@Account Closed I'm betting Yvette Carol is the grandmother.  Do you have any experience in researching family trees?
