@Alexander Felice Comparison is such a commonplace these days.I have heard there can be alot of it when getting into RE investing. Thanks for pointing that out, I know I get caught up in it as well. Im hopeful to work towards being a full time investor. I appreciate the vote of confidence!

Good morning BP members! This is the start of my investing career and first actual post. I am currently working a typical 8-5 job through the week. We have two kids under 3 yo, my wife is also working late into the evenings so I am with the kids until about 8pm while cooking and cleaning. I've found some time looking at properties every morning so that has been a small move towards getting away from the 8-5 job. But we have been having challenges trying to make sure we have time for everything, and sometimes a chance to relax. We have a little time on the weekends, but still with work schedules the weekends are busy also. I wanted to see if this was similar to any of you more experienced investors when you first started out.
How did you balance your life in the beginning when you tried to get your first rentals? Were there any lessons that you learned that could be helpful?
Thanks for your replies!

Ive heard conflicting opinions about residential 4-plexes versus commercial 5-plexes (loans, forced appreciation, etc). For those of you with experience in both, are commercial loan products significantly more labor intensive to deter you from using them?
