Goals for 2014

1) Make $300,000 in residential real estate sales commission

2) Purchase my first rental investment property, which would be student housing, walking distance from University of Washington, right around the $1,000,000 price range by the end of 2014.

3) Make my online presence perfect by hiring a solid digital marketing team

4) Begin to outsource certain parts of my business to a virtual assistant, for things like data entry.

5) Keep my grades up above a 3.5 GPA

6) Read at least 10 real estate/ business related books to further my knowledge

7) Go Pro on Bigger Pockets by the end of 2014

8) Make my direct mail marketing system flawless

This question is for both SFR & CRE.

Say you pull the deed on a property through the tax records, does it list the title/escrow representative and title/escrow company that serviced the closing?

If so, from there how would you go about getting the seller and buyers information, including email/phone number?

I know you can get the tax bill mailing address easily from any title/escrow company but is there a way to get the other information.

Please advise BP.

Thank you!

@Michael Quarles

After pulling the deed, does it give you an Escrow/Title Officer or just the company?

From there what do you say to them to give you the phone number/email of the owner of the property?

Thank you!

@K.Marie Poe

I just spoke with two title companies here in Seattle,WA and gave them the exact criteria I wanted. They use Listsource/Corelogic to get their information but are able to offer much larger discounts compared to calling Corelogic directly. I'm talking 75% cheaper.

Where do you get lists for properties that contain liens, delinquent taxes, eviction court attendants (multi-family owners), backed taxes, building code violators?

@Account Closed do you recommend buying a list from a title company or CoreLogic?

Then running it through NCOA?

Hi Everyone,
I keep hearing people say they are buying lists from Corelogic or some other Data Company but then some people are swearing by there local Title Company.

Whats is the price difference?

I'm interested in quality, the lower the price the better, but I don't want to pay for a list that runs the risk of being a waste of money.

Please advise.
