Hello everyone ,

I live in Southwest Michigan and have recently invested in 2 rental properties with 3 other friends who live out of state.

I recently started listening to bigger pocket podcasts and am very interested in making some connections in these forums.

Over the past year I have had a lot of learning experience last in a lot of areas especially after buying my second property which includes but is not limited to some renovations, not doing proper background checks on the renters, getting good property managers and now working on getting the properties transferred to LLC.

I am very excited to grow and be successful in this market with some help from fellow investors.

Can you please explain what this statement mean, " What is the consideration or price for the transfer of these two properties to the LLC? $1.00?"

I have bought 2 rental properties in Michigan with 3 other partners. We formed LLC using zen business online. I am trying to transfer the deeds of the properties to the LLC with help of a lawyer. He wants me to get an accountant to make sure LLC is set up correctly.

His other question is as follows: "What is the consideration or price for the transfer of these two properties to the LLC? $1.00?"

I am quite confused now about the process. Any advice?
