Woohoo!  See you then.

I missed the caveat that I had to purchase on BP.  I bought the book on Amazon.  Do I still get to hear the Q&A?  Order #111-1628770-1735415

Post: How to be of value to a mentor?

I am interested in buying multi family properties in the Nashville area for brrrr. I’ve read a ton and listened to BP podcasts. What I really want is a mentor to help me get systems in place for each aspect of the process. So I guess this post has two goals- to connect with a mentor and get feedback about how I can be of value to my mentor.

I currently own 2 sfh in Portland,ME and Chattanooga TN. I live in Maine and plan to move to TN in about 18 months. I have equity in my Maine house as well as cash to invest for our future properties. I have my realtors license in Maine for another 4 months. I’m great at researching information.

I have a background in marketing and I work as a life coach and psychologist. My husband is an old school handyman. He can build or fix anything- including houses. I am happy to buy on my own or partner on some deals.

I look forward to connecting with some incredible people!!

@Dan Handford. Any chance you would live stream the meeting? I'm in Maine, but desperately want to find a multi family rehab project in the Nashville area. I plan to move in the next year, but my husband can move to do the rehab and occupy sooner. Everyone I see one of your meetings posted I feel even more anxious to get to Nashville and start making connections in the REI arena.

Thanks for considering my request

Kirsten

Just to close the circle- I ended up using KeyRenter.  They were very responsive.  They had the initial listing up within 2 days.  Within a week they had the place rented!

@Heath M.  Thank you for the referral.  I just looked u his company and sent a message.  They look like they might have the best PM company.  I've talked to a couple others that seemed to have good reviews.  I have not been wowed by anyone yet.

Stephan- out of curiosity, who were you using?  I am interviewing Key Renters and Chattanooga Property Management today.  I'd prefer a word of mouth referral and any notes about management companies that are not working out.

thank you for the suggestions.   I made a few calls.  Because I’m not living in Tennessee right now I ended up going with a company other than my usual Allstate.  Individual policy prices varied a lot.  Thank you for the referrals.

Here we go... this is actually my second investment property.  My last was in a nearby town in Maine.  Now I am investing in Tennessee.  Not planning to live there for a while.  I do have to get homeowners insurance (and I am sure another insurance for rental).  Does anyone have a recommendation for insurance agencies with great rates and service in the Chattanooga area?  All my other policies are with Allstate- but since they are in Maine, that does not seem to help me.
