Hi Orlando Centeno,

First of all, welcome to BiggerPockets!!! This website is great and full of knowledgeable people who are in the business. I am a newbie from Milwaukee as well, and I have been o a few REIA meetings. That is definitely the first place I would recommend for you to start. There are many investors there who may be willing to mentor you.

Thank you very much for the information James Gefke . As a rehabber in Milwaukee, do you feel as if its best to buy and hold, considering the ages and conditions of most of the properties here? How did you get started?

Hello,

Are there any wholesalers here from Wisconsin? If so, how would I determine what the market is like here? As a newbie, all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kay

Congrats Kyle Holsey!!!

How long did you research wholesaling before you actually did it? Also, how long did it take to complete the deal? I'm just starting out myself, and its good to know that these deals can actually be done.

Richard Low we are definitely in the same boat. I figure if I can become a good wholesaler then I can make enough to fund my buy and hold properties with cash. Thank you for the information, I'll definitely look at those threads.

Marc Bodinger I havent necessarily started wholesaling just yet. I intend to start with residential properties first until I get a grasp on how the business is conducted. I dont know much about the market myself but from what I've heard at some of the REIA meetings there are definitely deals here. Are you in the Milwaukee area as well, or looking to invest here?

Thank you all for the warm welcome, and the best wishes. Are there any reccommended threads that you all feel I should look at for the newbie wholesaler? Hernan, have you done any wholesaling deal in the Milwaukee area? What is the market like?

Hi,

I've been looking around this site for a while and feel that its time for me to introduce myself. My name is Kay and I'm new to the whole real estate thing. I'm particularly interested in wholesaling as well as buy and hold strategies. I look forward to connecting with you all, and gaining as much knowledge as possible from this site.

Thanks,

Kay
